February Challenge: One Stroke

February Challenge Day 4: One Stroke

This sounded really hard to me at first. I was sure that it was the ability to polish your nail using one brush stroke. How would I ever do that?! Alas, it was not, hahaha! It's basically just using several colors in the same color family to create an awesome design using one long stroke each time you work with a different color.

So, I began with two coats of Essie Bikini So Teeny for my base. Then, using Zoya Yummy, I polished two long stokes on each nail. I continued this process with Zoya Skylar, Zoya Blu, and Zoya FeiFei. I was actually pretty surprised that the end product was some neat looking abstract nails that required very little skill on my part. Enjoy! :)

  3. I thought one stroke nail art was where you use multiple colours of paint (usually acrylic) on the end of one brush to create flowers (or other images) in one stroke...This is cool too, though.

    1. I think there are many different versions of a one stoke mani. Here is the link that the creator of this challenge provided everyone with as an example:
