February Challenge: Valentine's Day

I wanted to do something pink-less for Valentine's Day today. Mr. I Feel Polished and I don't really celebrate the day, though I do have a lot of fun at work! BUT I didn't want to go traditional with colors so I decided upon a blue-hued mani!

I began with two coats of Zoya Akyra. She's quite the unsung hero in my opinion. She's a teal metallic with a darker blue base. So pretty:

I then topped Akyra with one coat of Zoya Maisie, a blue/green fleck top coat. Finally, I added some little heart balloons using white thread and silver, royal blue, and purple rhinestone hearts. This mani turned out so wonderfully flakie and shiny that I had a really hard time photographing it! Enjoy! :)

  2. That's a cute mani for Vday! Though those hearts would bother me to death. This is why I can't have textured things lol

I rarely get that from him, he is a tough critic.
