Christmas Chevrons

OHMIGOSH!!!! You guys!! Seriously, I have found the most amazing, easy-to-use nail art tool that I've come across in recent memory! Nail vinyls! Linda makes vinyl stickers that you stick to your nail with the intention of pulling them off after you've polished over them. They're like the fancy version of striping tape! I purchased a set of her regular chevrons for $3.00 (that includes shipping) to try. TOTALLY. WORTH. IT. Every penny.

I began with two coats of China Glaze White Out. When that was dry, I added a coat of NYC ______ to add some iridescent sparkle. I followed that up with a coat of ellagee's Glass to dry it quickly. Once it was dry, I stuck on the vinyl chevrons. I used a pair of tweezers and it was sooooo easy. They stuck down well, too! Then, using a make-up sponge, I sponged China Glaze Tree-mendous and Shimmer Cindy over the vinyls. I pulled them off as soon as I was done with each nail, just like I do with striping tape, and they were GORGEOUS! The vinyls came off perfectly leaving me with some awesome nail art that took me almost no time at all! You can bet I'll be stocking up on more vinyls to share with you guys! Enjoy! :)
