Indie Spotlight: ellagee Luminous Orchid

{Press Sample}

In a post just last week, I mentioned how I wished my work appropriate nails would've had larger pieces of white gold, instead of the millions of teeny pieces that come out using OPI's white gold top coat. While I think there's a time and a place for an abundance of white gold, I like the option of being able to get larger flakes too. Then, Laura sent me this beauty and it met my needs perfectly! Luminous Orchid is a 12 karat white gold top coat with larger flakes than the teeny ones in the OPI top coat.

I did two coats of ellagee's Elegant Emily for my base polish. Then, I just did one coat of Luminous Orchid. Of course, you could do more coats for more white gold coverage. This top coat went on so smoothly, but my favorite part was the fact that I didn't have to fish for the flakes! YAY! This top coat costs $15, which is really reasonable when talking about gold and white gold top coats. I don't even want to mention how much I paid for my mainstream gold top coats...hahaha! This polish also comes with the adorable ring you see on the cap of the bottle! Enjoy! :)

  1. That is such a beautiful look. I missed all the gold flake toppers, but this is more budget friendly and I like the larger flakes. I may have to check this one out further. Thanks for sharing!
