If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you've seen some photos of ellagee's new A Good Man Collection pop up here and there. This collection consists of thirteen new polishes to celebrate the return of Doctor Who and the new doctor coming in August! Laura knocked this collection out of the park! The collection is up in her shop now, but they are selling fast! They range in price from $9 to $12.50, depending on the pigments and glitter used. I'll have six polishes for you today, and then seven on Thursday! Enjoy! :)
Bow Ties Are Cool pays homage to Matt Smith and his tweed jacket and bow ties. This tan crelly has tons of shades of brown and red glitter in it, allowing for it to be a natural jelly sandwich. It also comes with a little bag of red bow tie glitter, perfect for mixing into the polish or using as an accent! I chose the latter on top of two coats of polish!
Next up is one of my collection favorites! The Weeping Angels have always terrified me to my core! Statues freak me out all the time now! :P Don't You Dare Blink is a texture polish with tons of grey, gunmetal, and blue glitters. Since it is glitter heavy, it's a little harder to work with, but well worth the effort! I did two coats for the textured photos. Then, I added one coat of Glass top coat to smooth it out for the final two photographs. I LOVE the specks of blue in this polish! So gorgeous!
This collection has four multichrome polishes. This means that depending on the light and angle, the polish can appear to be different colors! Gallifrey Falls No More is one of these polishes, named for the home planet of the Doctor. It shifts from gold to bronze to red. At the right angle, I could also get it to shift to blue and green! Water intensifies this color shift, which is why some pictures have water drops and some are underwater! Unfortunately, the pigment Laura used in these polishes is no longer available, so these ones are limited editions. I did two coats for these photographs.
Hold Tight and Pretend It's a Plan is another favorite of mine! It's currently sold out, but Laura is testing out a similar pigment, so there's hope it may return soon, which is why I decided to show it to you today! This polish also uses the multichrome pigment, allowing it to shift from green to blue to purple. Absolutely stunning. It also has small iridescent flakes in it. This is two coats.
Another shifting multichrome polish is Medusa Cascade. This beauty shifts from gold to bronze to olive to seafoam. This polish is so shiny and beautiful! I did two coats for the photographs.
Last for today is Regeneration! This sheer pale yellow polish is loaded with white and gold shimmer. This polish is so delicate and sparkly! It perfectly imitates what it looks like when the Doctor regenerates! I did two coats for the photographs.
