Work Appropriate Nails

I'm really lucky to have a job where I can wear whatever I want on my nails! However, there are definitely some days where I need to have work appropriate nails. Meeting with district officials, conducting interviews, sometimes meeting with parents...

So, I was recently on an interview committee and wanted to wear something work appropriate. These nails aren't technically nail art, but they are a pretty and simple solution to a work place that suppresses nail art creativity! :P

I began with three thin coats of China Glaze Spring in My Step, a really delicate, pretty light pink. I topped it off with Mariah Carey's Pure OPI 18k White Gold and Silver top coat. I absolutely adore this top coat, though I do wish the pieces of gold were a liiiiiiittle bit bigger. Are you allowed to wear whatever you want on your nails to work, or do you have to wear work appropriate nails? Enjoy! :)

  1. I love this combination! I'm a teacher too, so I understand the occasional need for work-appropriate nails, but usually wear whatever I want (and I actually run a nail-art club, so I get to encourage others to have crazy nails too!).

  2. I just love these nails! The pink is a nice soft one and the silver flakie glitter on top adds such a subtle touch/sparkle to the nails too.

  3. I can wear whatever I want to work, but sometimes you just need classy nails that are still eye-catching but are also subtle. I love these! They would be beautiful wedding nails!
