Neon Distressed Nails

As summer winds down, I find myself needing neon on my life even more! :P If you've been a fan for quite some time, you know that I don't stick to traditional color schemes depending on the time of the year...so even though it's fall, I have some neon nails for you today!

I began these with one coat of China Glaze White on White. White polish gives neon polish a great base so that they pop and require less coats of polish. Once WoW was dry, I used some ellagee neons to polish random patches all over my nails. I used Dude! (yellow), Way Orange (orange), Whoa, Trippy (pink), and Lime-o-Rama (green). If you follow me on instagram, I posted a picture of what the neon patches looked like before I distressed them. Since I knew I was going to distress them, I didn't have to be too careful with my random polishing. Just polish those colors wherever!

Then, once those neons were dry, I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and the dry brush method to distress them! One layer of top coat finished them off! Do you wear neon polish all year, or do you like to stick to seasonal colors? Enjoy! :)
