Indie Spotlight: Parallax Polish

{Press Sample}

Are you ready for another new indie brand? Parallax Polish just burst onto the scene with some awesome polishes that are meant to bring awareness to research and ideas in science. As a teacher and science enthusiast, I think this is pretty darn cool! I have three of Parallax's polishes to show you today!

Climate Change comes from Erin's Controversial Ideas Collection. This thermal polish is packed with tiny blue glitter! The polish changes from white (warm) to blue (cool). Thermals can be hard to capture, but I just love them! I did two coats over a one coat white base. Honestly, I didn't need the base like I thought I would! This polish was smooth, easy to apply, and a fabulous color whether warm or cool. I couldn't capture the full shift, but it does get slightly lighter than the bottom warm shot in the picture below. This polish is $10 for a 14ml bottle.

Next up is my favorite, Helium! Hailing from the Noble Gases Collection, Helium is a glitter topper with red shimmer, red squares, and orange holographic glitter! This topper is so versatile and would look great over a multitude of colors. I swatched two coats over white and black to show how much the look can change based on your chosen undies! White undies were my favorite! Helium is $8 for a 14ml bottle.

Last, but certainly not least, Jahnavi comes from the DOOM Lab Collection. This gold polish with silver holographic glitter is simply stunning! I mean, she's really, really gorgeous! I did three thin coats alone for the photographs. Jahnavi is $10 for a 14ml bottle.

I'm really excited about Erin's brand! Be sure to check her out on Facebook and Instagram! Enjoy! :)

  2. I've never particularly cared for thermal polishes, but I love Climate Change. I think it's the combination of a really beautiful polish with a clever name that gets me! :)

  4. These are just amazing. What a shame they are based in the USA, because that means I can't get them shipped to Australia. Oh, well, I'll just have to dream, and if you couldn't dream, life wouldn't be worth living. Thanks for sharing these great reviews.
