Welcome to 2015!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe evening last night!

If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen a few posts about the nails and polish I have to show you today! I began seeing swatches of Pipedream polish popping up in my feed at the beginning of the summer. Then, it became neon polish (A Night in Vegas Collection). Finally, there were water marbles. Neon water marbles. AMAZING neon water marbles. My interest was piqued, because of my love of water marbles and neon! :D I began to seek out photos of these water marbled nails using these polishes that were clearly top notch. If you haven't seen any of these, just search #pipedreampolish and you're sure to see tons. Anyway, I decided I HAD to have these polishes. The bad news for me is that everyone else wanted them too and they are usually sold out. The good news is that April usually does restocks at least monthly.

I HATE restocks. Stress amps up my anxiety, so I never, ever brave them. But I decided to give it a shot for these polishes. Somehow I managed to purchase the entire collection when she restocked just before Christmas! To say I was thrilled would be an understatement! When they arrived, I unpacked them and squealed with delight at each one! Sadly, I was booked up with Christmas nails, so I decided THESE would be my New Year's Eve nails.

Long story, I know. But, I wanted to tell it because it allows you to see all of the hype I had built up in my mind about these polishes. I was dying to find out if they would live up to their reputation, and I had to just let them sit on my nail polish desk for nearly two weeks. :(

Ok, so I'm sure you're wondering: did they perform? Are they everything you want in a neon polish and more? Do they water marble like a buttery dream of awesomeness?

YES. YES. OHMIGOSH, YES!

If you love neon polish and water marbling, YOU NEED THESE. They are worth every penny, totally. If you've been wanting to try water marbling, these are the polishes to use. Every single one of them is perfect. They are currently out of stock, but like I said, April is pretty good about restocking often. She lists restocking info on her website and Instagram, and I highly recommend creating an account and logging in before a restock. You will not be upset with these if you purchase them!

Ok, enough of me talking! Are you ready to see these amazingly gorgeous water marbled nails? YEAH YOU ARE! I started with two coats of a white polish as my base. These neons probably could've done without a white base, maybe a neon yellow one instead, but I really wanted them to pop! I used Pipedream On the List (hot pink), Light of Day (neon yellow), and Happy Hour (bright turquoise) for the water marble. I topped them off with China Glaze's Fairy Dust (obviously!), and one coat of ellagee's Glass. Enjoy! :)
