Creamsicle Water Marble

Ready for another water marble?! I've been obsessed with water marbling for the last few months! I've been practicing and gotten so much better, so all I want to do is marble ALL THE NAILS. Today I used polish by ellagee for an awesome, orange creamsicle-ish mani!

I began with two coats of Wrapped in Ribbon, a shimmery white cream polish. I then marbled Delilah, a peach cream, and Wrapped in Ribbon for the look you see below. What are your favorite polishes to marble with? I'm always looking for new ones to try! Enjoy! :)

  1. You had me at Creamsicle. ;) I loved those when I was a kid. This is a very cute yet sophisticated mani! I like the watermarbles with a lot of wild colors, but there's something about the subtlety of this one that's very appealing to me. So pretty. :)

It's great your watermarbling skills have improved. May I ask if you have any tips to share? I read on one tutorial that fresh/new polishes work best because they haven't thickened yet. Do you find that to be true? Are there any particular polishes among the mainstream lines (OPI, China Glaze, Zoya, Essie, etc.) that always work well for you? Or even any mainstream lines that work better? Thank you!

  2. This is so pretty! I'm still a bit scared to give water marbling a try but I really should since the results are so amazing.
