I recently saw some pictures on Instagram of Starrily's Gumballs polish, and I immediately knew I had to add her to my collection! Circle glitter in a variety of neon shades?! YES, PLEASE! A polish like this practically screams my name!
I struggled with what to use as a base for these. I didn't want plain white or black, and most of the neon colors I considered using would've washed out one or more of the glitters. SO, I settled on a distressed black and white base. I used I See London by Digital Nails on all of my nails for the base, except for my accent nail, which began with two coats of I See France. When all was said and done, you can't really tell that my accent nail began as a black base while the rest were a white base, but oh well! :)
Once those base colors were dry, I distressed them with the opposite color. Remember, this is done by wiping the brush off of the neck of the bottle until you feel like it's mostly dry. Then, you drag it over your nail until you're satisfied with the look. When the distressing was done, I added one coat of Gumballs, one coat of top coat, and I was ready to go! Enjoy! :)
